With the support of European Capital of Culture Esch2022, the City of Esch-sur-Alzette and of over 30 private and public entities from the regional construction sector.

Description:

The University of Luxembourg under the lead of the architect & guest-professor Carole Schmit together with the research & development specialist Dragos Ghioca from the Master in architecture (FHESS), contributes to the event ESCH2022 with a small house, by curating a collaborative design process on circularity. In cooperation with Prof. Christoph Odenbreit (FSTM), the support of frEsch.asbl and LIST, the house is coproduced thanks to the contribution in kind of a great number of professional partners in Luxembourg and the greater region. 

Petite Maison, a continuous performance open to the public at 1:1 scale, is divided in three moments : construction, use and deconstruction. Each construction element is linked to a virtual database and remains available for reuse at the future deconstruction.
