Municipalities

Local authorities and organisations play a central role in implementing the circular economy, acting as regulators, facilitators or promoters, in close collaboration with citizens, businesses and organisations.

They can mobilise regulatory, financial and knowledge tools to create an environment conducive to the CE. One major lever is the Climate Pact, supported by the Klima-Agency via consultants tasked with helping local authorities with their circular planning.
